our staff
At Short Breaks, we are committed to investing in high-quality staff training to support the ongoing development of our team’s skills, knowledge, and experience. This investment enables our staff to reach their full potential while supporting Short Breaks in achieving its strategic objectives and delivering high standards of care.
Short Breaks schedules six dedicated training days annually, during which qualified professionals are invited to deliver in-depth training across all key areas of care for children and young people. These sessions address essential topics such as Safeguarding, Team Teach, Gastrostomy Care, and Stoma Care, among others, ensuring that staff are fully equipped to provide high-quality, safe, and effective support to all children and young people accessing our service.
